Community Involvement:
Sensors Quality Management Inc. is a company passionate about giving back to the community. Both co-founders believe that youth are the future, and as such they heavily support children's charities and do whatever they can to help young professionals reach their goals. Donations to charities including United Way, Hospital for Sick Kids, and the Ronald McDonald House are a regular part of our contributions complemented with many staff who actively donate their time to the charities of their choice. SQM has been an Imagine Caring Company, a group of companies committed to giving at least one percent of their pre-tax profit to charity. Each year, SQM offers multiple internships and co-ops to young professionals, students, and new Canadians to help them launch their careers. David Lipton sits on several educational boards and is regularly invited to speak with students and new graduates.

Sensors Quality Management Inc. is also an organization committed to reducing its carbon footprint. Management actively engages employees and the community for new energy reduction strategies, and the company has undertaken a number of environmentally friendly initiatives. Bi-annual Internal Environmental Audits are conducted to ensure best practices are being implemented and to measure company progress toward our green initiative. SQM has also implemented various ISO 9000 practices to ensure they meet the needs of clients and other stakeholders.
